Shibu Soren says voting with govt will not make a difference

Jharkhand chief minister Shibu Soren, who voted with the government in the cut motions in Lok Sabha, today did not appear apologetic for his action, saying
what difference will it make and maintained that his party, JMM, is still with BJP.

"What difference will it (his vote) make," Soren, who runs the government in Jharkhand in alliance with BJP, said when asked about his move yesterday.

His son Hemant Soren claimed that what happened was a "mistake" and that it took place due to "confusion during voting."

Asked if his party is still in alliance with the BJP, senior Soren told reporters, "We will continue to remain with the BJP. We will not leave the BJP."
