Properties worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed as a fire broke out in slum dwellings near Rajendranagar road overbridge in the state capital today, police sources said.
The fire reportedly caused by electrical short-circuit broke out in the slum and spread to other areas, destroying several dwellings, sources said.
A fire brigade team fought for more than two hours to extinguish the fire.
