Mumbai: Savita Bhabhi is dead and cremated. A few days after he came out in the open, the progenitor of the porn toon, Puneet Agarwal, has decided to end his campaign to resurrect Savita Bhabhi by taking on the internet censors in India's ministry of information technology.

"Dear Savita Bhabhi supporters. It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that I will be shutting down the Save Savita campaign and everything associated with it," Agarwal, who earlier went by the pseudonym 'Deshmukh', said in a statement released on the Save Savita site.

"Unfortunately, due to personal and family issues arising from my going public last week, I am forced to take this decision," he said.

Fans of Savita Bhabhi, who had been posting anti-censorship posts on the site, are in for major disappointment as the site will go offline anytime now.

"I will be taking down all links and posts subsequent to releasing this statement," Agarwal said. "I apologise for any inconvenience caused to bloggers/tweeters that are linking to the content on the Save Savita website."

With the statement it appears that the Savita Bhabhi chapter is officially over.
