Saved after consuming acid, divorcee kills self by hanging in Ahmedabad

Parul Gajjar, a divorcee committed suicide in the bathroom of LG Hospital in Maninagar. She hanged herself from the ceiling of the bathroom. Gajjar was reportedly upset after being abandoned by her husband. "She had been living with her father since the last few months," a police source said.

Gajjar had been admitted to the hospital after she attempted suicide by consuming acid. She was saved by the doctors but she again found a way to kill herself, this time in the hospital itself. She hanged herself with her dupatta in the ladies bathroom of the hospital in the women’s ward. Her body was found at 4 am on Saturday.
