The recent road show of Bollywood actor Salman Khan for the coming local bodies and mayoral elections in Indore is a 'stage managed.' one, Madhya Pradesh chief minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said today.

“The road show of Salman Khan was stage managed. Such shows will not benefit people of the city as he just waved and went back,” Chouhan said addressing a poll meeting in support of the BJP’s mayoral candidate Krishna Murari Moghe.

Referring to the sufferings of the people due to the lathi charge during Salman’s road show, Chouhan said that the people who thronged to see the filmstar got only cane beatings instead of getting any benefit.

Chouhan alleged that the Congress mayoral candidate, Pankaj Sanghvi is spending money like water in the polls, and added that the contest in Indore is now between Congress's money power versus BJP’s hard labour.
