Restructuring of Air India necessary: Ajit Singh

Air India will receive its first dreamliner aircraft in two months months, said Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh.

Singh added that restructuring of Air India was necessary but the government will not and cannot continue to spend public money on it. Rs30,000 crore will be infused in Air India by 2020.

Government decides to hive off Air India's engineering and ground handling services into two subsidiaries.
