Rajasthan to introduce new housing policy soon

Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehot today said that a new housing policy will be introduced soon to provide better housing facilities to the citizens.
    
Laying foundation stones of two housing projects of Rajasthan Housing Board at Jagatpura and Pratap Nagar here, Gehlot said that his government was committed to fulfil basic needs of people, and has started works in this direction. "We have started works aimed at constructing 10,000 houses every year, and 1.25lakh houses in five years," Gehlot said in the function.
    
"The government is working on a new master plan to develop Jaipur as a 'world class city'. A new housing scheme will also be introduced soon focusing on needs of people belonging to lower and medium income group," he said.
