Ragging incident in Delhi college raised in Rajya Sabha

Raising the issue during Zero Hour Congress member Santosh Bagrodia said that the incident was informed to the warden and the principal of the college but not to the police.

Congress member Santosh Bagrodia voiced serious concern in Rajya Sabha over a ragging incident in Kirori Mal College, in Delhi and said that if such things happen in the national capital it is a serious matter.
    
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Bagrodia said, "The incident which occurred at 7.30 pm last night was informed to the warden and the principal of the college. But the police said, they have not been informed." "If such things happens in Delhi, then this is a very serious matter," he added.

Last night in Kirori Mal college, a first year BSc student was ragged allegedly by two third year students Akshay Chaudhary and Hani Mohammad.
    
College Principal Bhim Sen Singh said that he has recommended dismissal of both the students from the college, which will also lodge a police complaint against them.
