A group of drivers protested today outside the residence of businessman Anil Nanda whose employee was allegedly set ablaze in a mysterious condition at his bungalow in New Friends Colony in the national capital on June 6.

The protest was led by Chauffers and Domestic Drivers Association which demanded immediate arrest of Nanda, holding him "responsible" for the death of Janeshwar Sharma who had succumbed to burn injuries on June 16.

The relatives of the deceased also joined the protest, shouting slogans against Nanda and police authorities for alleged inaction.

SP Singh, president of the Association, said: "Police is not taking proper action in the case and Nanda should be arrested now."

Yogesh Sharma, Sharma's brother, said: "We want justice and the cops are not doing their responsibility properly."

The Delhi police has already questioned Nanda along with 20 others but are yet to make arrest in the case. The police said it is corroborating Sharma's dying statements to a news channel and the probe is progressing.
