Protest at seminar on Bt brinjal attended by Jairam Ramesh

Activists of a local organisation gate crashed into the hall where Union minister of environment Jairam Ramesh was participating in a seminar on Bt brinjal, protesting against the government policy on it.
      
The activists of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch gate crashed in the Law Bhawan of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana in Sector 37 here.
      
As Ramesh was seated on the dais with other participants, the protesters raised slogans "Jairam Ramesh go back". There was total chaos in the hall for a while.
      
A small posse of policemen present was taken off guard and could not handle the situation.
     
The protesters later apologised to the minister for disturbing the meet posed questions to him on the subject.
