PM should clarify on coal block allocation issue: Ramdev

On the issues of corruption and black money, Ramdev said he would continue his fight against both along with Anna Hazare and his team members.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Sunday sought clarification from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the on the issue of coal block allocation as he was holding the Coal portfolio during the period when the alleged scam took place.

"The Prime Minister must clarify his position on the coal scandal as this department was with him," Ramdev, who arrived here to meet Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, told reporters.

On the issues of corruption and black money, Ramdev said he would continue his fight against both along with Anna Hazare and his team members.

"Along with Team Anna I will intensify the struggle against corruption and black money between April one and August one and a huge convention will also be held in Delhi on June 5 to discuss the issue," he said.

Ramdev said he had called on Badal to congratulate him for being chosen as the Chief Minister again.

"I was invited by Badal for the oath-taking ceremony, but due to some commitments I could not turn up," he said.
