Pakistani national held on LoC in Poonch

A Pakistani national has been arrested by the security forces after he allegedly inadvertently entered into the Indian side of a village in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir, officials said hoday.

Heera Ali of Gujranwala in Pakistan, a vendor, while selling clothes inadvertently crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and entered into Dehri village in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district last evening, they said.

Preliminary questioning revealed that Heera saw few houses on a hill top while selling clothes on the other side and with an aim to sell clothes to the people living this side he inadvertently crossed the LoC, they said.

His questioning is in progress while nothing incriminate has been recovered from his possession, they said, adding that he would be handed over to police for further investigations.
