Opposition playing politics with people's misery: Congress

Reacting to attacks on his party by BJP and Shiv Sena, Shakeel Ahmed said a few political parties are trying to extract political mileage out of this 'unfortunate incident'.

Under attack from the Opposition over the Pune blast, Congress today said nobody should try to "play politics" with people's misery.

The party, at the same time, asked the government to ensure that those behind the incident do not escape the clutches of law.

"It is a very unfortunate incident. But nobody should try to play politics with people's misery. The country should face the challenge of terror unitedly," party spokesperson Shakeel
Ahmed said here.

Reacting to attacks on his party by BJP and Shiv Sena, Ahmed said unfortunately, a few political parties are trying to extract political mileage out of this "unfortunate incident".

The Congress leader said the government and the concerned security agencies should look into the matter in such a way
that the "perpetrators of this type of heinous crimes should
not escape the clutches of law".
