One NDFB cadre killed Assam

A National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) militant was killed in an encounter with police in Sonitpur district today, police said.

The ultra was spotted at Sopiarohmari area during a routine patrol, they said.

When the ultra and his accomplice did not stop the security forces fired on in which one was shot dead.

His accomplice managed to flee but the police managed to recover one grenade from the slain ultra.
