One killed, 40 injured in road mishap in Gujarat

The incident occured last night when the Mumbai-bound bus from Sagwada in Rajasthan broke the railing of Jambua bridge on the National Highway No.8 and lay partially suspended.

One person was killed and 40 others injured when a private bus carrying them broke the railing of a bridge at Jambua located on the outskirts of the city, police said today.
       
The incident occured last night when the Mumbai-bound bus from Sagwada in Rajasthan broke the railing of Jambua bridge on the National Highway No.8 and lay partially suspended, they said.
       
The passengers got injured after they jumped into the ditch below, police sadi adding they were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital.
       
One of the passengers claimed that the driver of the bus was inebriated due to which he lost control of the bus, causing mishap.
       
The details of the deceased and victim is yet to be identified, police added.
