Onam celebrated in Puducherry

Keralites in Puducherry today celebrated Onam, with Lt Governor Dr Iqbal Singh, chief minister V Vaithiilngam, ministers and leaders of various political parties extended greetings to them on the occasion.

Mahe, an enclave of Puducherry in Kerala had declared a holiday for all government offices and institutions. The other three regions-Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam-provided restricted holiday for the government staff.
