Omar Abdullah decries teenage girls' killing on Twitter

Reacting strongly to the killing of two teenage girls in Sopore district allegedly by militants, Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah called the killers "heartless".

"And here come the Trolls from the other side waving their imaginary battle axes & since they are heartless, nothing on their sleeves," Omar said in his tweet.

On Monday, two sisters aged 19 years and 17 years, residents of Sopore, were kidnapped from their house and shot dead allegedly by militants.

In an apparent dig at separatist leaders, Omar said, "If you can't condemn the killing of these two girls, irrespective of your political beliefs & do so without qualifying it then shame on you."

He also prayed for the soul of the dead teenagers and wrote, "May Allah grant peace to the souls of Kulsooma & Rehana, their family the strength to deal with this tragedy & us strength to learn frm it."
