To build more pressure on the government for early return of the two children, taken away from an NRI couple in Norway, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj today said her party will raise the issue on the first day of the Budget session of Parliament.

"Our children in Norway - this is the first issue that we will raise on the first day in Parliament," she said on Twitter.

Swaraj led her party in a demonstration outside the Norway embassy in the capital and expressed her solidarity with the grandparents of the two children.

"Today morning I called on the grandparents who are sitting on dharna near the Norway embassy," Swaraj said.

Party spokesperson Jagat Prakash Nadda demanded speedy action on the issue.

"We are all for a speedy decision on this issue and speedy action should be taken by the government," he said.
