NK Amin challenges his ‘handcuffing’

Taking cognisance of the complaint filed by NK Amin against the jail authority for handcuffing him, the CBI magistrate court has forwarded Amin's complaint to the Metropolitan Magistrate court for further inquiry in the case.

In his complaint filed with the Special CBI magistrate court, Amin had alleged that the police officials who had accompanied Amin, had tied a handcuff, and even when he objected the jail authorities said that they had decided that all accused shall be handcuffed while they move out of the jail.

Following the incident, Amin had moved a complaint with special magistrate accusing violation of Supreme Court guidelines.

He alleged that the decision taken by the jail authorities is against the order passed by the Apex court and the court should take steps against the jail authorities.

The court has transferred the application for further inquiry to metropolitan magistrate court.
