Nine women electrocuted in Haryana

Nine women were today electrocuted when they came into contact with a live wire in Nuh in Mewat district of Haryana.

The incident occurred when the women were returning to their homes on a trolley which was passing underneath the power lines. The wires suddenly fell on them killing them on the spot, Mewat SP Uginder Singh Nehra said.

"Nine women have been electrocuted when they came in contact with 11 KV LT power line wires," he said.

Further details are awaited, he said.
