New Delhi municipal council to upgrade healthcare facilities

The facilities will be upgraded in nine months and then they would be given accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare Providers.

In steps to provide quality healthcare to citizens of Delhi, NDMC will upgrade all its healthcare facilities in collaboration with Quality Council of India.

The NDMC and the Quality Council of India today signed an agreement in this regard.

The facilities covered under the agreement are Charak Palika Hospital, Palika Maternity Hospital, 20 allopathic dispensaries and 23 AYUSH dispensaries in the city.

The facilities will be upgraded in nine months and then they would be given accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare Providers, a release issued by the NDMC said.
