Members participating in the discussion on the Railway Appropriation Bill referred to some major accidents in the last three years and wanted to know why anti-collision device was not being fitted in trains.
Avinash Rai Khanna (BJP) expressed concern over accidents at unmanned crossings and said the railways cannot shirk its responsibility.
