Attacking the BSP government in Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party today alleged machines were installed at houses of Chief Minister Mayawati and her aides to count the huge amount of cash collected through wrongful means.

"Machines have been installed at the houses of Mayawati, her relatives and some trusted ministers to count the money collected through wrong means," SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav said here.

On the NRHM scam, he said "the CBI is carrying out raids at different places in the state but the real culprits are out of the reach of the law."

"On coming to power in UP, the SP will probe corruption cases against Mayawati, her ministers and her trusted officials," Yadav said.

He alleged Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi kept mum at the time when misappropriation of central funds was going on in the state.

There was an understanding between the two parties, Yadav said.

"Had the Centre checked this loot from the beginning, it would have helped put a lid on scams," he said.
