Armed Maoists today attacked a Bihar Military Police camp in the district and injured four personnel, two of them seriously, before looting arms and ammunition, police said.
    
Over hundred Maoists swooped down on the BMP camp near Chanan river in Akbarnagar, sprayed bullets and injured four personnel guarding it.

The Maoists looted four self loading rifles, two machine guns, some ammunition and two grenades, police said, adding they fled in the dark after the brief attack.

Two injured police personnel were admitted to Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital where their condition was stated to be serious, they said.

The other two were referred to Patna Medical College Hospital.
    
A combing operation has been launched in the area to nab the ultras, police said.
