Man dies as wall collapses due to rain in Alang

The incident took place when wall of the plot 24 of the Alang ship breaking yard collapsed today and the people sitting at a tea stall near the wall got buried under the rubble.

One person died and three others were injured after a compound wall collapsed due to rain at Alang ship breaking yard in the district, police said today.

The incident took place when wall of the plot 24 of the Alang ship breaking yard collapsed today and the people sitting at a tea stall near the wall got buried under the rubble, they said.

According to police, one person died on the spot while three others who were rescued from under the rubble have been admitted to government hospital.

The deceased person is yet to be identified, police said, adding that further investigations were on.
