In a major breakthrough, police in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh today arrested three persons for stealing jewellery and cash worth about Rs 1.85 crore.
        
The police have recovered jewellery worth Rs 1.54 crore and nearly Rs 28 lakh in cash from the accused, police sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, Seoni district's superintendent of police (SP), Raman Singh Sikarwar arrested one Sher Singh employed with a local jeweller in connection with the case. He had decamped with jewellery worth over Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 30 lakh in cash from one Kailash Soni of Indore on January 7, near Parasia village under Lakhnadoun Police Station.
    
During interrogation Sher Singh admitted of his and three other's involvement in the crime following which police arrested Ganesh Shrivastri and Amit Ramaswami and recovered the jewellery and cash totalling over Rs 1.82 crore from them.
    
One more accused in the case Deepak Agrawal is still at large and efforts are on to nab him, police said.
    
Inspector General (IG) Jabalpur Range, MR Krishna announced a reward to the police team involved in tracing the crime while Soni also announced to give Rs two lakh award to the police team for arresting and recovering the cash and jewellery.

Police also recovered the car used by the accused in the crime, police added.
