Locals smash windscreen of express train after youth's arrest in Bihar

Angry about the arrest of a local youth for pulling the train's chain, a group of people today smashed the windscreens of an air conditioned coach of Rajgir-New Delhi Shramjivi Express at Biharsharif railway station, official sources said.

Some GRP personnel had caught the youth on the charges of chain pulling at the station.

As the news spread, locals gathered on the platform and persuaded the securitymen to free the youth, they said.

They also smashed windscreens of the AC coach of the train to protest against the incident.

Two persons were taken into custody in this connection, sources said.
