Six persons were today killed and as many injured after lightning struck them in four separate incidents here, police said.
A godman Baba Maru Yadav and his two disciples Prabhu Jharia and Ghanshyam were killed and three other injured when his Ashram was struck by lightning at Pipariya village, they said.
One man was killed and two others were injured at Majhgawa area, they said adding that one died and one sustained burn injuries in lightning strike at Salaiya village, they said.
Similarly, one Ramcharan Kushwaha was killed after lightning struck him at village Lakha Patri, police said adding that all the injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
