Left parties in Rajasthan hold protest against Obama's visit

The parties protested at Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner, Kota, Chittorgarh, Ajmer among some other places.

Left activists today held a demonstration here and burnt an effigy of Barack Obama protesting against the US President's visit to the country.

"Scrapping of the Indo-US Defence Framework Agreement and extradition of former Union Carbide chief Warren Anderson in the Bhopal tragedy case were among five issues that we highlighted through the protest,"  CPI (M) State Secretariat Member Ravindra Shukla said.

The rally began from MI road and concluded at Badi Chaupad, where the activists burnt effigy of Obama, he said.

The parties protested at Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner, Kota, Chittorgarh, Ajmer among some other places.
