A CRPF patrol had a narrow escape when a landmine was exploded on a road shortly before the securitymen were to pass it near Rajhania in Bihar's Jamui district today, police said.

Police suspected that Maoists were behind the blast of the landmine, planted beneath the road.

Raids were being carried out in the area to apprehend the ultras.
