In a daring robbery, a man barged into the house of Kerala minister PK Gurudasan's daughter and snatched away a gold chain, after holding her child at knife point at Ashtamudi near here, police said today.

The man entered the house after disconnecting power supply and threatened the minister's daughter Seema, with a knife, which he took from the kitchen, and held to the neck of her nine-year old daughter Ardra, last night, they said.

Seema handed over the chain to the robber to save her daughter, after which he escaped.

Only Seema, Ardra and Seema's mother-in-law were at the house while her husband was away at work.
