Junior cops are now on tenterhooks

 

Lower-level staff of Vadodara police are on the tenterhooks these days, with senior officials asking them to take stringent action against every single country liquor hub in their area. They have been told not to spare any liquor hub.

Police officers don't want to take any chances as the vigilance squad has become active after the Ahmedabad hooch tragedy. Due to this, there has been a series of raids on the country liquor hubs in and around the city. 

Incidentally, in Vadodara, Navapura and Kaksaheb Tekra at Dandia Bazaar are famous hubs for country liquor.

Meanwhile, majority of bootleggers are said to have already closed their hubs and some have even left the city to escape any action by the police.
