The "jadoo ki jhappi and pappi" (magical hug and kiss) remark of Sanjay Dutt haunts the Bollywood star once again as a local court is likely to take up tomorrow the charge-sheet filed against him.

Two FIRs have been registered against Dutt in connection with the comments allegedly directed at Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati during the last Lok Sabha polls.

The FIRs have been lodged at the police stations in Pratapgarh and Barabanki districts under Section 294 (obscene act and songs) and Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of woman) of the Indian Penal Code.    The police officer, who investigated one of the FIRs lodged on April 16, 2009 at Nagar Kotwali, filed a charge-sheet before chief judicial magistrate Anirudh Kuamr Tewari on March 18 and it is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow, prosecution sources said today.

The FIR was lodged against Dutt who, imitating his famous Bollywood character 'Munna bhai', had offered "jhappi-pappi"
to the people of Pratapgarh as also Mayawati while campaigning
for the SP candidate during an election rally.

The police officer, investigating the case, went to Mumbai to meet the actor but did not succeed following which he prepared the charge-sheet, sources said.

The "jadoo ki jhappi and pappi" comments had infuriated
Mayawati. Dutt had later said he reserved the "pappi" for the
people and would give only a "jhappi" to "sister" Mayawati.
