Jayalalithaa writes to PM, says she is amazed with remark on KNPP

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today wrote a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying she was amazed with announcement that the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant would start working in 15 days.

According to Cabinet resolution, she said, work was a halted till public fears were cleared.

She asked the prime minister to allay fears of locals before they 'precipitate' action on Kudankulam nuclear power plant.
