Jayalalithaa presides over meeting to discuss strategy for assembly polls

AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa today presided over a party meeting in Chennai to discuss strategies for the 2011 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.

District secretaries and other senior members attended the meeting, a  party release said.

Jayalalithaa virtually launched her party's electioneering at Coimbatore last month and also addressed a public meeting at Tiruchirappalli early this month.

She is also planning to tour the state extensively from next month.
