Comedian Jaspal Bhatti came out with a mocking 'Save the Corrupt Bill' in Delhi on Monday to support veteran social activist Anna Hazare's crusade against corruption.

Taking a cue from Hazare's anti-corruption campaign at the Ramlila ground, Bhatti, who has enacted in several satires and street plays on the theme of corruption said he would get 100% support as even the corrupt would like his bill.

"We want to present 'Save the Corrupt Bill'. We should save the corrupt people. The government will surely support the Bill, as it is very kind hearted. The future government will also support our Bill. Everybody will become happy, as it is a very soft bill," said Bhatti.

"Now-a-days people are saying that only few are supporting Hazare's movement but when we will bring 'Save The Corrupt Bill' then all the corrupt people will come out in support. There will be 100% support to our Bill," he added.

Bhatti recently enacted a satire calling for the 'Right to Scam' to be considered as a fundamental right.

In the play, he expressed corruption should be made a compulsory subject of study in schools so children could know how to engage in corruption right from the beginning.

Talking to mediapersons, he mockingly said that in his bill only the peons would be charged for corruption at the bureaucracy level and pawn in the court would come under the ambit of 'Save the Corrupt Bill'.

"I am saying that everybody should support our Bill as it is very soft. As far as bureaucracy is concerned, according to our Bill; keep secretaries and chief secretaries apart, only peons would be questioned. Only peons would be under the ambit of our Bill.

As far as judiciary is concerned, leave the higher judiciary and lower judiciary; pawn in the court would be under the ambit of our bill. Only the pawn would be under the ambit of our bill and no one else would be questioned," he added.
