The All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association (AJHLA) said, 'We welcome the announcement made by Union minister for tourism about identifying 20 tourist destination for giving boost to tourism in the state.'

Welcoming the announcement by Union tourism minister Subodh Kant Sahay about identifying 20 new tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir, the All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association (AJHLA) today demanded that Jammu region should get its due share in the exercise.
"We welcome the announcement made by the Union minister for tourism about identifying 20 tourist destination for giving boost to tourism in the state," AJHLA president Inderjeet Khajuria told reporters here.
"Jammu region should get its due share and potential tourist-cum-pilgrimage places in Jammu region should also be identified," Khajuria said and claimed that Jammu had been ignored in all the past packages for tourism development in the state.
Khajuria demanded separate allocation of central funds for Jammu region to be spent on creating infrastructure and on other heads to promote tourism in the region.
