J&K social welfare minister to pay six-day visit to Madhya Pradesh

The Minister, Sakina Itoo, will visit the state beginning May 2 to study efficient implementation of six social sector schemes.

Jammu and Kashmir social welfare minister Sakina Itoo would pay six-day visit to Madhya Pradesh beginning May 2 to study efficient implementation of six social sector schemes here.
    
Principal resident commissioner, J K House, New Delhi has written a letter to Madhya Pradesh chief secretary stating that for effective implementation of these schemes, the department has decided to proceed as per the experience of other states particularly Madhya Pradesh which has made significant progress in these sectors, an official release said here today.
   
These schemes include SABLS, Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahayog Yojana, Modernisation of Orphanages, Formation of Mahila Mandals for ICDS, Construction of Tribal Cultural and Research Centre and Construction of Computer Labs for ST Hostels.
    
Sakina will visit Bhopal from May 2-7 and during this period she would hold interactive meetings with the concerned ministers and officers.
