Investigators have fanned out to several places across north India, including the national capital, in search of "one or two" more men associated with the bomb attack on an Israeli embassy vehicle here last month.

The intensive searches began after the arrest of a journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmed Kazmi, who allegedly helped the bomber conduct a reccee, on Wednesday.

Sources said Indian investigation agencies were given inputs by external intelligence agencies about Kazmi's possible involvement.

Police had claimed that they have recovered a motorcycle used by the bomber. "We are looking for the owner of the motorcycle," a senior police official said.

Investigators had claimed the February 13 attack as a case of "international terrorism".

Kazmi was employed as a contractual news reader for Urdu with Doordarshan and had been a visitor to Israeli embassy as well.

According to police, an IED was used for the explosion and everything was done in a well-planned manner.

Sources said the bombers had come to Delhi this year on a tourist visa 15 days before the blast and stayed at a hotel in Paharganj.
