Indian plunges to death in Abu Dhabi

An Indian man, hailing from Hyderabad, fell to his death from the 12th floor of his office building in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi but it is unclear if this was a case of suicide.
   
The victim Prasad worked as an office boy at a private firm in the Emirates city and fell to his death from the building yesterday, police was told by eye-witnesses.

According to a co-worker, Prasad served coffee to everyone in the office just before they heard a thud, only to find out later that he had plunged to his death.

It is still unclear whether it was a suicide and police said it is investigating the case.
   
The deceased was from the Andhra Pradesh capital Hyderabad and is survived by his wife and three children in India.

The incident came close on the heels of another case of an apparent suicide by an Indian in the UAE.
   
The body of an Indian worker was found hanging from the ceiling in a deserted-building in Dubai on Sunday.
   
The man, believed to be in his mid or late twenties, has been identified but his identity has not been disclosed.
   
The police are said to be investigating the motive behind the apparent suicide.
   
Earlier last week, an Indian technician in Sharjah committed suicide by hanging himself in a lift he was responsible for maintaining, complaining that the company he worked for, had not paid him wages for over six months.
   
Over a million Indian migrants are estimated to be living in the UAE and are spread out in the three major cities of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
