A Delhi court today asked two accused to deposit Rs1.5 lakh each in a post office for rehabilitating a man who was framed in a false case when he went to the police for lodging an FIR against them for allegedly getting one of his kidneys removed.

"Considering the facts and circumstances, counsel for accused Sunil Deshmukh (alleged tout) and Sunil Anand (alleged recipient of kidney) have agreed to contribute Rs 1.5 lakh each for deposit in the post office monthly income account scheme which may be opened in the name of the complainant," additional chief metropolitan .agistrate Ajay Pandey said.

The court also directed the post master of Nehru Place branch here to open an account in the name of Vikram after it was told that the victim does not possess a valid ID proof.

Deshmukh, arrested recently from Nagpur in Maharashtra and Sunil Anand, a resident of Delhi, were booked in a fresh case after the court had taken a strong note of the plight of Vikram who was framed in a fake case when he had approached the police to lodge the complaint against the accused duo.

The court, while granting bail to Deshmukh, accepted their "voluntary offer" for rehabilitating their victim.

Earlier, the ACMM had absolved the victim of the charges of allegedly possessing a knife, saying it showed the worst and "the most inhuman" face of the police.

The court had asked the Delhi police  commissioner to register an FIR into the illegal removal of kidney which resulted in the arrest of Deshmukh.

Vikram, whose kidney was removed at Suretech Hospital in Nagpur on April 17 and was donated to accused Sunil Anand, was neither paid the promised Rs two lakh by the accused nor did they give him a job as promised.

Earlier, he had narrated his version to the court saying he was taken to Nagpur by an alleged tout named Raju who lured him with a job promise. There, his ID documents were forged by other accused Sanjay Bihari.

Deshmukh was also involved in the offence, he said.

On approaching the police, they not only took away the vital documents from him but framed him in a criminal case for possessing a knife, Vikram had said.
