IIT Kanpur student killed in mishap

A final year IIT student was today killed and another injured when a motorbike, in which they were travelling, collided with a speeding vehicle at Kalyanpur area here, police said.
       
Mohit Agrawal, a student of M.Sc Economics, died on the spot, while Prateek Gupta, pursuing M.Tech in Dual Chemical engineering, has been hospitalised in a serious condition, they said.

While Mohit hails from Dehradun, Prateek is from Allahabad.
