A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was arrested today and large quantity of arms and ammunition was seized in Jammu and Kashmir, a police spokesman said.
Hilal Ahmad Palla was arrested by a joint search party of police and CRPF from Nihalpora in Pattan, 30 km from here, in Baramulla district on Srinagar-Baramulla National highway.
One AK 47 rifle, two magazines, 60 rounds, an Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) with 17 rounds, five detonators and a radio set were recovered at his instance from his house in Dangerpora village in Budgam district, the spokesman said.
