High-level committees to monitor illegal mining in Rajasthan

In order to monitor and review works being executed to curb illegal mining in Rajasthan, the state government has decided to appoint monitoring committees at divisional headquarters level.

The committees headed by respective divisional commissioners will review works being done by the committees appointed at district level, an official said today.

Public representatives, superintendent of police and district collectors will also be the committees' part, the official said.
