Heat, humidity continues in Delhi

The maximum temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above yesterday's 39.7 and also one degree above normal for this time of the season, MeT officials said.

Heat and humidity continued unabated in the capital today with the maximum temperature hovering over 40 degrees Celsius.
           
The maximum temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above yesterday's 39.7 and also one degree above normal for this time of the season, MeT officials said.
           
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius, which is one degree below normal, they said.
           
While light showers on Sunday evening had brought temperature down by a few notches, there was no sign of rain today.
           
The humidity oscillated between 63 and 23 per cent.
           
The weatherman has predicted a partly clouded sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas.

The maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be 41 degrees and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
