HC notices to TN officers for Feb 19 clash

The Madras high court issued on Monday notices to six state government officers for not implementing its March 18 order recommending the suspension of the then ACP AK Viswa-nathan and then joint commissioner Ramasubramanian for the February 19 assault on judges, lawyers and litigants and damage to court property as well as vehicles on court premises.

Justices Ibrahim Kallifulla and R Bhanumathihad  ordered the serving of the notices. The notices are returnable by August 27.
