Over 1.31 crore voters across 90 seats are eligible to exercise their franchise for the October 13 Haryana assembly elections.

Over 1.31 crore voters across 90 seats are eligible to exercise their franchise for the October 13 Haryana assembly elections.

A total of 13,524 polling stations have been set up in the state for the polls, Haryana's chief  electoral officer Sajjan Singh said here today. Out of total number of 1,31,13,011 voters, 71,47,100 were male and 59,65,911 were female voters.

There are a total of 87,956 service voters in the state, which include 57,756 male and 30,200 female service voters, he said.

He said that Gurgaon assembly constituency has the highest number of 2,31,350 voters while Narnaul assembly constituency has the lowest of 1,10,153 voters.

The Gurgaon assembly constituency also has the highest number of male and female voters, which were 1,22,661 and 1,08,689 respectively.

Singh also said that the voters in Haryana can now get election related information from web based and SMS based poll helplines set up by the election department with the help of National Informatics Centre.
  
He said that the web based helpline could be accessed on website of ceoharyana.nic.in.  The users could also access their vote information by sending the exact voter ID card number to the phone number 9416913297 through SMS, he said.

He said that the common toll free number for whole of the state is 155212 and any voter could seek election related information by dialing this number.
