Gujarat Ponzi: Estate deals under scanner

The Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) is now investigating the property deals made by Imtiaz Saiyed. The police claimed that he had purchased several plots and schemes in Bharuch and Khambhat which he had recently sold.

Sources from the police revealed that Saiyed had bought a huge plot of non-agricultural land in Khambhat for development. The police further claimed that he had also purchased a huge scheme of 25 luxurious plots in Bharuch which he later sold.

The police are now investigating as to from whom he had purchased these properties and to whom he sold them. The police are also looking into the other places where he had invested and purchased plots.

Saiyed was produced before the court on Friday.
