To help the parents find their missing children, a website was launched on Tuesday. The website - searchmychild.com - features photos and profiles of the three children -- Ronak Panchal, Kartik Rajendran and Vishwa Patel -- who went missing from Ahmedabad recently.
Apart from details and pics of these children on the homepage, the website also has a section called, 'Have you missed your child?' on the lower left corner. Through this section, anyone can register details of their missing child by filling up the form.
“If any one finds it difficult to upload the photos or fill the details by themselves, such parents can simply call me on my number or just send an email, which are provided on the lower side of the homepage," said Sanjay Joshi, a social activist spearheading the mission. To guide the parents about what to do when their child goes missing, the website even carries useful tips in the 'objectives' section.
“Through this website, we can reach out to the masses and seek their help to find these children," said Joshi.
To spread awareness about the missing kids of the city, the parents of Kartik, Ronak and Sagar have decided to organize meetings in different areas of the city including Maninagar, Khokhra and Bapunagar.
“These meetings will be called Mohalla Sabha, and are aimed at gaining support of all locals residing in areas where these kids used to live with their parents. We will call them at a common place of the society every day and give them a pamphlet containing photos and profiles of the missing kids, so that they can also contribute in finding them through their own sources," said Joshi, who has also organized a meeting of all parents from all over the state at Law Garden on Wednesday evening with the details of their missing kids.
