Girl accuses brother-in-law of rape in Ahmedabad

A 17-year-old girl has filed a rape case against her sister's husband. 

The complaint filed with Gaikwad Haveli police station on Tuesday evening alleges that her brother-in-law forced her to consume a spiked drink and then raped her.

According to police sources, Sunita (name changed) in her complaint, alleged that she accompanied her brother-in-law to his house on June 12 to help her sister who has been ill for the last one-and-a-half year. On the way, he made Sunita take a spiked drink and raped her.

Later, he took the unconscious girl to his home and then brought her back the next day to her own home. After the incident, Sunita became depressed but told her family of the incident.
